This iOS 'Exploit' Kit Can Hack Vulnerable iPhones Using 23 Different Attacks

Security researchers uncovered the 'Coruna' exploit kit being served from malicious websites to compromise vulnerable iPhones running iOS 13 through 17.2.1; the toolkit chains together 23 attack techniques to gain control or access data without users’ knowledge. The DarkSword leak shows multiple advanced exploit kits are now circulating in criminal channels, not just Coruna, broadening the threat to any unpatched iPhone. Keeping iOS current remains the most important defense, since hardware choice does not prevent these software exploits.
