The National Weather Service issued winter storm and ice warnings on April 1 for more than a dozen Wisconsin counties, with some warnings remaining in effect as late as Thursday evening. Those warnings are part of a larger regional storm that is also producing glaze ice, sleet and snow in neighboring Minnesota through Thursday. Residents should expect hazardous travel, possible power outages and continued winter conditions across the Upper Midwest.
