
Microsoft is overhauling the Windows Insider beta program to make preview builds more predictable and reduce tester confusion, and has started rolling out the revamped experience to better validate fixes and reduce instability. The Teams Together Mode retirement is another sign of a company-wide shift toward focusing on stability and measurable quality improvements over novel but nonessential features. The program overhaul aims to provide extra checks on both stability and update behavior.
