CBS News terminated Scott Pelley's contract after disputes with editor in chief Bari Weiss and executive producer Nick Bilton. Weiss said Pelley violated 'trust and mutual respect,' and his dismissal — which followed his public accusation that Weiss was 'murdering' the show — added to several recent departures under new management.
