
Several LNG carriers that left the Gulf before recent missile strikes are due to arrive at destinations within roughly the next 10 days, leaving a narrow window before Gulf export flows could be interrupted. The Financial Times’ report that tanker traffic through Hormuz remains stalled and that Tehran is imposing conditions on passage suggests disruptions could continue after these arrivals, increasing the risk of a sudden global gas supply cliff and higher prices. Reduced spare capacity at some plants further limits the market’s ability to absorb a prolonged outage.
