SpaceX published a detailed list of redesigns for Starship Version 3 — a next-generation, fully reusable super-heavy launcher — ahead of a possible maiden flight from Starbase, Texas. The V3 changes include dozens of structural and systems updates intended to improve performance and flight readiness; after an initial scrub the first flight was mostly successful but also revealed issues that still need resolving before orbital flights. The upcoming Starfall demo highlights SpaceX’s parallel push into payload services and on-orbit manufacturing, showing the company is developing both large launch vehicles and smaller, revenue-generating reentry systems. Routine Falcon 9 Starlink launches, such as the June 25 flight that added 24 satellites, sustain revenue and operational experience that help fund and inform Starship development.
