
Artemis II passed the midpoint between Earth and the Moon, sent back striking Earth photos, and addressed a malfunctioning toilet during transit. After completing the lunar loop and recording close-up lunar imagery, the crew returned April 10 with a Pacific splashdown. NASA has since released thousands more mission photos — including standout Earth and lunar views — providing further visual detail for analysis and public interest as flight controllers finish postflight work.
